I have had one single cup (small cup) of instant coffee this morning..... 

no coke either...

and I think I am starting to feel the effects!!!

In Beijing there was coffee everywhere....

In ZhuoZhou there was not even boiling water to make it at the hotel....

my name is Mykl and I have an addiction.

Apart from any of the other, arguably more destructive ones, here is another that has just crept up on me.

I was sitting, quite happily doing some work; preparing some training documentation when I realised I was surrounded by screens... and I was using every one of them.

I am not sure if there is a support group for what I crave... it is called  MBOCS.

I have it bad. (and I have noticed there is a tiny bit of room to the left of the second laptop..... hmmm....)

Just got back from our judging of the annual awards for our photo club.....
and I managed to get first in the A Grade Large Colour Prints...  I am a little happy with that i have to say.  The quality of the stuff that is produced at the Toowoomba Photographic Society is astoundingly high... so to get that is indeed an honour.

Anyway, I am happy with it.

On a separate note, I am off to China in two weeks  This trip should be short and sharp (hopefully less than2 weeks) making a single machine work, but this is the beginning of it all.....

In our house we have a skylight in the kitchen....

Sun comes streaming through there even as it is getting quite dark in the rest of the house.

My post-work challenge this afternoon was to see if the lighting could work for portraity stuff.

Your can see that almost every attempt I made was of me out of focus!

Eleven, Seven, Eleven seems like it should be a very important date... it has that ring to it!
Did get lots of work done today before coming home to take fuzzy photos... maybe that is enough!

A little outing

A couple of days ago... went for a little "bushwalk" about 20 minutes from where we live.
Walking through rainforest for most of it and then up to a little lookout.
It really is amazing when you consider how close it all is.
