On the way home from doing just a couple of last bits of Christmas shopping.
You could see the storm moving towards the range.
Truly beautiful and very humbling.
(I was so upset that I only had my cellphone camera with me!)
Down towards Sydney a couple of months ago... it was just a tiny bit pretty!
Sometimes taking photos is about saying something.
Other times it is just a form of appreciation. The are people and places that you get to see, be with or be part of that just confirm that there is more to this than physics or chemistry.
I certainly appreciate being part of a universe that gets to look like this!
The nice thing about rain is that it stops... Eventually.
Somewhere off in the distance is the rainbow, even if you can't see it
from where you are.
Of course the fact that it stopped raining for a little while meant that we were able to go to the markets...
Some Christmas presents might have even been purchased!
Ruth and the boys admiring chickens....
Sitting in the conference room, working stuff out (again).
This time, at the request of my Megaboss.. collating all the "feedback" I receieved so that I can work out a development plan for myself.
Of course the fact that I took this photo means I might have reached a point where my concentration was not completely on this.... but let's pretend it was taken by my photojournalist that I have with me all the time to document my life!
I have promised to show the house.. here is the start of that....
Here is the front. The garden has gone in since we got back, so that is why the trees look puny.
More of a tour soon!
(You can spot the photographer in the picture!)
It is still raining...
doubt if it is ever going to stop now.
It is lucky we live on top of a mountain! I have a feeling in a couple of weeks we might be sea front property.
The boys and I had fun out in the rain for a little while this afternoon.
My drive to work is basically through the bush.
A pleasant drive rather than battling traffic.... only wildlife to dodge.
I spend the time learning things, talking to people or just being.
BTW 2 things about this photo...
1. it was not taken this week - it WILL NOT stop raining right now..
2. I am sure that this photo was taken by someone else... it would have been irresponsible to take it myself!
